“In Iraq, the SEED Foundation has created parallel lines of management and technical supervision for frontline staff. Technical supervisors provide frontline staff support with the clinical and more technical aspects of the implementation of their activities – community based MHPSS, mental health and case management – and also conduct field visits to support front line staff with issues they may face.”
SEED is proud to have contributed to this incredibly important report by No Lost Generation, that shows the gaps in MHPSS for children and adolescents. One of the gaps the report addresses is the high need for structural support for parents and caregivers, which is something SEED has provided from the start, and will continue to do through its comprehensive MHPSS services. The report included responses from 42 organizations in the Middle East and SEED was one of only two to participate from Iraq.
